Dr. Rell has been practicing in the Sarasota, Manatee and Lakewood Ranch area for 17 years. For approximately 9 years he had worked with large orthopedic groups in the area and has now opened an independent practice, Southwest Foot & Ankle, in Lakewood Ranch, which affords him the opportunity to spend much more time with patients and allows him to offer his patients the highest quality of compassionate and expert care. Dr. Rell specializes in all aspects of reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, including total ankle replacement procedures, but has a conservative approach to most foot and ankle conditions.
